Abstract<\/h2>\n

HIV infection has spread to almost all continents. In an unusually short time, it has become the number one problem for the World Health Organization and the United Nations, relegating cancer and cardiovascular disease to second place. In the presence of chronic incurable diseases, people often develop anxiety and \/ or depression. Depression — very strongly affects the condition of HIV-positive patients. A recent study found that people with HIV who show symptoms of depression are less likely to see their doctors and are more likely to miss their essential medications. According to the results of performing a complex of yoga and breathing techniques in the exposure group, there was a decrease in depression indicators according to the Beck questionnaire by 29%, situational and personal anxiety according to the Spielberger-Khanin questionnaire by 33 and 13%, respectively. In the control group, there was a 15% decrease in the depression index according to the Beck questionnaire, mainly due to one participant, an increase in situational anxiety by 8% and a decrease in personal anxiety by 3.6%, mainly due to one participant.<\/p>\n
