Moscow, Russia.<\/p>\n<p align=\"right\"><strong> <\/strong>\n<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<h2>Abstract<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Objective<\/strong>: To develop a yoga therapy complex for working with Hamstring tendinopathy, as well as to evaluate its effectiveness. Comparison of the results obtained with the results of a study on the treatment of this disease using shock wave therapy.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Methods and participants: <\/strong>The study involved 12 people suffering from Hamstring tendinopathy. Of these, 2 are men, 10 are women. The age of the participants is from 10 to 40 years. The patients performed the yoga therapy complex for 2.5 months. The work was divided into 4 stages. The complex includes isometric, static, dynamic and plyometric operating modes. The methods used to assess the effectiveness of the complex were the LEFS questionnaire, visual and numerical pain rating scales, and functional testing of the amplitude of passive movements .<\/p>\n<p><strong>Results:<\/strong> All participants experienced a decrease in pain. On average for the group, according to the numerical pain scale, there was a decrease of 82.5%. The LEFS questionnaire showed a decrease of 9.2. There was an increase in the range of motion during hip flexion by 21 degrees.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Conclusions: <\/strong>During the implementation of the yoga therapy protocol, results were obtained that, when assessed by Student\u2019s T-criterion, are in the zone of significance. The effectiveness of the proposed complex turned out to be higher than the course of shock wave therapy [2] with comparable time and incomparable financial costs.
