Abstract<\/h2>\n

Objective<\/strong>: To develop a simple method of a yoga therapy complex for relieving symptoms of chronic rhinosinusitis.<\/p>\n

Methods and participants: <\/strong>The SNOT-22 Nasal and Paranasal Sinus Disease Outcome Test was used as an evaluation method. The study involved 10 people aged 14 to 56 years. A simple yoga therapy complex was proposed, which included alternating two yogic breathings (Kapalabhati and Bhramari). The complex took 8 minutes a day and took 4 minutes in the morning and evening. Breathing techniques could be performed in any comfortable position.<\/p>\n

Results:<\/strong> The average value for the group on the SNOT-22 quetionnaire decreased from 42.9 to 24.1 points, which is a clinically significant change. This amounted to 56% of effectiveness.<\/p>\n

Conclusions: <\/strong>The obtained empirical value, according to the automatic calculation of the Student’s t-criterion, is in the significance zone for the symptoms of all participants. The yoga therapy complex demonstrated good results in working with the main problem of chronic rhinosinusitis, relieves the symptoms of a runny nose, nasal congestion and can be recommended to people with this disease.<\/p>\n
